I hoped the radio station in Houston was right about petrino. Looks like they were totally wrong. God I wish Steve S. would come to the rescue. Miles will be a joke. At this moment I refuse to believe Skip will hire L.M. I would rather see Jimbo get bumped up. Also have to say congrats to the hawks, they wanted it more and they earned it.. (didn't it seem like the ball always bounced their way.)
I have mixed feelings and am disappointed if true. ONLY because we thought a more well known coach, bigger name would get hired. Timing is everything and that is where we got really burned. Hopefully Les will be able to work his Magic but it just seems like a timing issue also. I would rather hold out a few more days and see what the NFL may have or see what we could come up with before jumping to a hire.
