  6. Made steaks w/ a mushroom/wine/cream/peppercorn sauce, roasted Brussells Sprouts w/ olive oil and Parmesan cheese, roasted potatoes, and garlic buttered rolls. Just as everything was coming together, my date got some bad news about her grand daughter. She was too upset to eat, so I have lunch today too!

  8. A BLT and hash browns cooked in the bacon grease with onions and garlic.
  9. I cooked 8 gal of gumbo Saturday. 5 gal for my church lunch on Sunday, 1 gal for a Mardis Gras party Saturday night, 1/2 gal for Mom and Dad, 1/2 gal for a friend, and a gal for me. Had gumbo last night. Gets better each time.
