1. On @1045espn's #AFR:"I don't care who plays QB at #LSU, all they have to do is hand the ball off to me."

"To the guys (recruits) in Louisiana, I tell them to stay in state. Play for the boot. Why leave?"

Sounds like a good kid, the leader type we need badly.

  2. Unfortunately it matters a lot who hands the ball off to you, son. If you care to compete for a national championship.

  7. My feeling is most of the players today don't come to LSU for national championship, they come to LSU to get to the NFL. A championship is just icing on the cake. I know that is not all of the players, but is true for a large percentage of the coddled and entitled 4 and 5 stars.

Championships are much more important to the fans than the players. After they age and mature it becomes alot more important to them.

  8. See I disagree here. I think they come to LSU because their chances of getting to the NFL is icing on the cake, but every single one of them come to play to win a championship.

  9. With all the Juniors that leave, they can give two shits about a natty.

Just think of all those players stayed for D in 2013.. It had NC written all over it.

  10. If that were the case, getting a "return to school" grade from the advisory board would mean they would stay and try to win a championship. A large percentage of LSU players leave early with a poor draft grade which tells me that they are not at LSU to win a championship. So far both early exits received a stay in school grade.
