I hope all you guys in La. are keeping a close watch on hurricane Dennis. That sucker could veer a liitle left and do major damage to BR. Hope all ride it out safely.

We are protected by a low pressure ridge that would make it almost impossible for a direct hit, but yes... I agree... it isn't over until it is over!

    Thanks for the support.

I doubt it veers left. 2 different fronts will make it curve right soon enough

This will be the first time I have ever ridden out a category 4 storm. Hurricanes fascinate me, but I have to say, Im getting a little anxious. Its still very possible it could strengthen further before landfall.

try not to do anything TOO stupid MB... Seriously, take care, this looks to be a pretty amazing storm. I've never ridden out a hurricane since I'm only 20 and LA has been relatively safe the past 15-20 years, minus Andrew--but i guess that makes up for it, huh?

Hang in there, Mobile. I'm in Pensacola and have ridden out many hurricanes, but maybe not as intense as this one could be. I'm gettin' a little anxious too.
I just have this feeling that it's eventually gonna be alright. After all, God wouldn't want me to miss the home opener, would He?

After the first 12 pack you will not even notice the storm. Get your friends over, tell them to bring beer and chips, and enjoy. Just remember, no work tomorrow.

I rode out Ivan with some bottles of Merlot. Missed the whole storm, and woke up with the town having a hangover.
