Doesn't look like an overwhelming majority to me. It appears more of them pick Auburn that LSU actually.

Among the shortcomings pointed out for LSU are the QB and the new coaches, yet these same fans don't think Auburn lost that much. As one auburn fan put it it was just the QB, 2 RBs, 2 DB's, 2 DL & 2 OL. Ok I suppose your entire offensive backfield isn't that much.

I'm not sure I follow the logic posted over there. LSU, they say, will not win the west because a QB (who actually played and gained experience) is too inconsistent. Even with 4 experienced RB's, all the WR's back, the TE's back and 5 experienced OL starters and Auburn at home, LSU will come in 2nd to a team starting an entirely new backfield (and QB inconsistensy won't be a problem for Auburn?) JC was inconsistent for 3 years if I remember correctly.

On defense its closer but I would say the edge would still go to LSU based solely on returning starters. But its close.

I think a lot of people over there think that getting a new coach is gonna be hard for yall. I don't know much about miles, but it has to be a step down from your almighty god that saban was.

If Miles doesn't work out, we'll simply arrange a few secret runway meetings with potential replacements and then have Miles cry on National Television like Tuberville did. Ahh, nothing like a little scandal to keep everyone on their toes. Auburn fans must have been so proud...

    Nothing but Trash.

I'd say fans of both programs have been far more critical of their own coaching changes than of each other's. That being said, both programs are the cream of the West with a definitive edge to LSU. I have been stunned to see many of the prognosticators picking Bama to finish 2nd rather than Auburn (prolly the same ones that picked Bama to win it last season :hihi: )

Bama has no depth. Injuries happen and they will finish no better than 3rd in the West.... at best..... their O-line will compete with Kentucky for worst in the west. I admire Croyle's courage because I believe he knows he won't have the level of protection he needs to remain healthy the entire season. Tough break, but that's life on probation.

I'd rather replace Saban than have to keep Tubby.

Interesting outlook, given their head-to-head record. I'd say both are quality coaches that take their work seriously and are driven by success. Both are Type-A personalities and show a great deal of resiliency.

My guess...... it's not the last time they'll face off against one another. :thumb:

I don't think Saban drag races, square dances, has sex with his sister, ropes cattle, or beats his wife, so I can't imagine what you think they will face off in the next time Saban goes to Auburn...
