I remember getting into an argument with a friend who said Frampton had quite Humble Pie before the Smokin album. I explained to him in no uncertain terms that he was wrong . . AND he was a DOLT . . AND right there I can hear Frampton playing . . what's wrong you man can't you hear . .don't you know shit about guitarists and how to tell their styles . . . Ok course he was right; I was the stoned dolt; Frampton had indeed moved on - - but he "CAME ALIVE" on his own
