It never cost $20 to post here. Brett the former owner, used to take donations. And what happened with that was a snobbery brought on by Brett making a 'special' donor tag, for those that contributed. This was the result of that contributor tag:

"You're not a contributor, so youre opinion does not matter here"

A lot of people left back then because of that nonsense.

100% accurate. I remember exactly that happening. I finally left for a year or so, went to TOS because of that stuff. Back then, internet sites were free & there were 5 or 6 LSU sites.

@KyleK , I think it is damn near impossible to separate political stuff & the way people feel & post these days. Keep in mind over 50% of Americans are extremely pissed off.

I don't post in the poli board anymore because I know there can be no agreement in this current climate. Antifa, BLM, Open Boarders & Covid 19 has people unduly stressed. Can't get Covid 19 under control? Hey, let's open the boarders & bring in millions of new cases.

Then we see these athletes opting out, opting in, transferring at higher rates, the transfer portal & pulling BLM marches. Generally not acting like student athletes, at least ones from the not to distant past. Hard to find much love, when these athletes are doing things that many find reprehensible or fundamentally disagree with.
