Well, it's not like it's never happened before and it's not like no other programs have lost recruits after they originally committed.

That's modern-day college football recruiting. Were we lose two, we'll gain two later on. No worries!

Like many of those who have seen him first hand, Sullivan was impressed with Jefferson's size (6-foot-6, 230-pounds) and after seeing him play and practice, he believes his future is at a position other than quarterback.

"I think physically, he has a lot of arm, he's strong," said Sullivan. "I've been doing this a long time and I think personally he's going to be a tight end in college. He's not a 4.4 kid, but he can be a 4.7-4.8 guy. I don't see him as a quarterback."
