1. Being a "homer" is bad only if you pretend that you are objective like some of the talking heads. Being a "homer" isn't bad if you are willing to admit that you are one, that way people understand your perspective. The reason I stopped listening to Jim Rome is that he is clearly a USC "homer" but refused to admit that after the 2003 season when all the MNC discussion took place. He tried to pretend that he was being objective.

NOTE: I am an LSU "homer" !
  2. LSU homer test:

Did Early Doucet catch the football against Arizona St?

If you answered yes, you are a LSU homer.
  3. Yes.
  4. Not only do coaches email and call Don, but many recruits and players (current and former) correspond with him. He gets lots of inside info but has the sense to only publish what is in LSU's best interests, unlike the message boards which coaches and players avoid like the plague.

  5. I'm too old to jack off, jack off.
  6. Of course he caught it. Don't you see in the last two photos how he is celebrating ? Early wouldn't be celebrating if he had not made the catch !
  7. Foot down, both hands on the ball, . . . TD!
  8. Looking at pictures 2 & 3, there can be no doubt.
  9. didnt need the pictures since i was pretty sure after the 10th replay but it certainly clears that up. good job.
  10. Ok, I held my breath on this for as long as possible. Dandy Don has not ever nor will ever in the future get a call from an LSU coach to get recruiting advice.

The reason I know this is because if the coaches listen to him Buster Hymen would have already won two Heisman's and Rhatphuc would have prevented Landry from ever getting on the field since he was the greatest safety in the history of Louisiana High school football.
