1. I imagine so! It's nice to have connections. :D

  2. You wouldn't believe some of the deals she has gotten there on open box stuff. She got a $1200 Apple laptop for our oldest daughter for $650 + tax.
  3. Is anyone going to be posting "chicken-wire" links this season for us cable cutters?
  4. Sling tv. 20 a month, CNN and ESPN
  5. This is what I have... works very well on a Fire TV box. I pay the extra 5 for the sports package that has all of the additional ESPN networks. If you are a soccer fan, Sling has additional channels for you.
  6. Sling or use a friend's cable sign in code.
  7. Agreed. I had the roku stick but it was too slow and now I have a roku box, which is way better. I can watch my tiny house shows on hgtv. Love tiny houses.

Also YouTube has so much content these days. Yesterday I watched an awesome documentary on Chinese factories in YouTube/roku.

Over the summer when the only sport I care about is baseball I will replace sling tv with MLB.tv. cable problem solved.
  8. The Roku 3 is great. Love it...
  9. I also had PlayStation vue on ps4 and it was great but wasn't as good as sling based on price/channel selection.

netflix is useful when I run out of stuff to watch. But I use up all the Netflix content and cancel it, then try out Amazon prime for a while. Without having cable I can switch around more easily.
  10. I already pay for Prime and it has some good stuff.. Have hulu, Netflix, Showtime, Starz, and HBO.
