    There was a guy on here (wingman) that was riding out Katrina, down in Happy Jack, La. He was posting the night it hit, going back and forth with a few of us (Crip Team Katt, I remember for sure) late into the night. Katrina hit that area with such fury, we're pretty sure he didn't make it (he was riding it out in a camp, basically.) Pretty sad and surreal.

    Do you really think he bought the farm? I went back and read those post a few weeks ago. Man, that sucks.

    Good point. You should hang around more often. Always good to have another WM person around to keep these guys straight. :thumb:

    Not that I know of. Last post here is the night of Katrina.

    I remember that tornado very well, I lived on south parkridge dr. which is the first street entering palmetto park, and I watched that thing from my back porch come all the way from kingston road across the cow pasture and it picked up about 200-300 yards from the house then dropped down again 1 street over into the subdivision. Had some minor roof damage, but that scared the s*** out of me.
