1. Glen Davis would change his mind once he's at LSU and decide to play football. We would be looking at two 6'8"-6'9" OTs that weigh 350 plus. Talk about two mountains to try and run around. Hopefully big Herm comes though.
  2. After one season with Brady...

Big Baby just may relinquish that BB scholarship and accept one from Saban !
  3. Def. nice to see if it happens, but doubt it.
  4. Why would Davis give up his BB schollie, he's a shoe in to play any sport, could walk on the FB team. Hell, shotput for Track......hehehe
  5. He's smart by sticking to basketball...If he plays to his potential, he will be a first round draft pick. Of course, a lot of people think he would get drafted by the NFL too, but think that his best shot is Basketball...
  6. Do you think Saban is looking for a 7 foot QB? hell, if our line gets any bigger, we may have to recruit taller athletes......IMOO....but who knows, maybe Saban will get a midget athlete, like shyrone, to man his Wishbone offense.....LOL
  7. Say what you want about Shyrone, he played his heart out for LSU when he was on the field.
  8. If he plays football the schollie MUST be a football schollie, the "Bear Bryant Rule" as it is known!!! Keeps coaches from loading up the swimming team with fullbacks.
  9. FB SCHOLLIE?

Did you even read the previous posts? It said, he is a Basketball scholarship athlete at LSU.....which means, he could participate in any other sport available to him and not cost the FB program a much needed schollie, that could be rewarded to someone else...... spears and clayton were gonna play both sports.......do you think Pat Henry is gonna offer X-Man a track schollie?

    Come on man, think......LOL
  10. Re: FB SCHOLLIE?

    no, he was right....

a football player can play basketball, baseball, and track

    but not vice versa

if you play football then you have to be on a football scholly or else walk on completely (with no athletic scholly what so ever)
