I apologize about Miami mistake, I should have included them as if they had beat GT. My point is that everyone waits until something goes wrong, then fix what HAPPENED. Nobody wants to look ahead, and PREVENT something from happening. For example, after '03 they made it almost impossible for a team to be #1 in both human polls, and miss the Champ game. But no one thought to realize, that if we could have 3 one-loss teams at the end of the year, we could have 3 unbeatens. So the BCS was unprepared for what happened to AU. The plus one sounds like a good idea, but it really would only work sometimes, just like the current system. The only time it works perfectly, is when we don't need it. Like this year, a CLEAR 1-2. As long as the BCS and congress for that matter remain re-active and not pro-active, we will have problems.
