Sorry, you guys don't deserve it, If you would have lost on the road it would be different. Missing field goals also, you had your chances, your Defense played well enough to win but that was it. Good Luck to you all

Still, it would be great to see you guys pounding the hell out of Boise State in the Sugar Bowl. Those pretenders must be exposed.

Bama Fans .... In all honesty ....

    - Bama's D and LSU's D are equally devestating

    - Bama's O is a tad better than LSU's O .... even though the score didn't show it as no TDs were scored .. but that again goes back to the defenses.

    - This game could have easily gone the other way.

I'm not going to say LSU is "better" than Bama ... I think the two teams are equal ....

BUT .. the score is the score, we get to move on, you guys get to biotch slap someone in the Sugar Bowl.

Bama should be PROUD. That is one fine team. CLM .. said it all .. "I'd be honored to play them again". No greater compliment than that.

Thanks. You guys left it ALL out on the field; played hurt, took your assignments from Coach Saban; no shame!

    Tough, tough SEC defensive smashup!

Now, kick the shyt out of the rest of your schedule & we'll see y'all next year in DV!

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

To be clear, they did not just "miss field goals". They were forced into long FG opportunities by our defense on drives that were stalling and we were pushing them backwards. They could have punted instead, like we did, but they chose to attempt low percentage long FGs rather than play field position. I don't look at it like the FG kicker cost them the game, rather the STs decision making cost them the game (another case in point is putting injured Maze back on PR). Our FG opportunities were sound decisions in makable ranges.

heck of a defensive battle. lots of future "sunday" players. articles already out there that the game was bad for lots of other teams hoping to play for the bcs trophy. why? b/c there may not be any better teams out there than the 2 who played in bryant/denny last night.
granted, argument could be made either way. but the doors not shut is what i'm saying.

Appreciate your want to be graceful! I don't think anybody who was a true fan of either team could take a full breath for the entire game last night! Everyone is complaining about the lack of offensive scoring, flashy plays, etc., but this was one of the best games I've ever seen in my life! I think even an outsider would have to a agree with that. This was the model game for SEC football, which is the best of the best going at it on the gridiron! Bama, your D was truly great. I commend you on a well fought game.

On behalf of the Swamp and the Florida Gators..... CONGRATS to you Tigers for turning the tide upside down on itself last night!!! You have the #1 Defense and last night was well deserved. Gratitude for crushing the pompous attitude of the Gumps in their own house. Such a nice treat to have an early championship game to watch. The SEC should already know by now that LSU will be in the Super Dome Jan 9th. The Gators are behind you all the way!!!!!

I would add that LSU's special teams are much better than bama's.
