Amp was on the field in the 4th quarter, and it's a testament to the kid's focus. We all heard that he was having trouble over the summer, but to see him on the field and seeing live action, it just made me smile.

This kid has faced some pretty tough adversity, and though he may have wavered, he's still here, and he's made it back onto the field...I see this guy working his way into the Top 4 by the end of the year, and through the offseason, as he gets better and better from a physical standpoint, look out.

Congrats, Amp! We're glad you made it back!

BTW-Congrats to Herm Johnson, Xavier Carter, Chevis Jackson, and all the other Tigers who saw the field of play for the first time as LSU Tigers! Welcome to the fold!

I was really hoping Flynn would have thrown a few passes on that last drive, and possibly one of them could have gone to Amp Hill. I think it would have been much more important for this kid's mental state of mind to actually make a catch.

But yes, congrats to all his hard work, that's for sure.

    Can't believe I forgot Flynn...Sheesh!

Flynn got a few passes in, but one hopped it to the back, and then threw a little too high to the wideout for a possible score...He also took a HUGE lick on that wideout throw...

Thanks for that message TigerEducated. It was a great feeling to see Amp get back out there as it's been 2 years since I last saw him on the field. It truly is a blessing from the Lord for him to be playing football again. Now I can't wait for that first catch...

Since this is only my second year of being a Tiger fan, (I started late, I know). Can somebody inform me what Amp Hill did when he played before the injury? Was he highly recruited?

It will not be long untill he gets his hands on one. Great to see him and the others that got their jersey's dirty for the first time see the field. All Amp has to do is continue to make steady progress(baby steps is all thats required) and his time will come. He is still a freshman only two games into the season and has his entire career ahead of him. Look at the progress Davis and Bowe have made after only limited time last year. His time will come with patience and hard work. He plays for Saban so the hard work is a given, the patience is the hard part for both him and his family. Just keep taping the games and you will have a highlight reel before you know it.:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I enjoyed seeing him out there. At first I thought it was Ronies Prude and then I remembered about the number change. Knee injuries can take two years to heal. I sure hope there are people telling him this. Sounds like he isn't a quitter. Speaking of knee injuries, the worst has to be Wendell Davis. Both knees in one play because of a seam in the turf. I wonder what he is doing.
