Proud and the rest of the aubbies are just being nice to us for a specific reason. They know that come the fall their football program will take a downward spiral. During that time they will be the laughing stock of the SEC... and with any luck, their nice ways of this off-season will get them a few brownie points to redeem here during the fall!
Hey martin see what I mean. With some here, you get your head bit off if they think you dare pull for anyone else but LSU and if you do pull for them you must have some ulterior motive. Guess it's kind of like Coach Brady. Some here can't decide whether to fire him or name him Coach of the Year :hihi:

You have my full permission to post anything I've said about LSU on WEN here. Why don't you post my recent response on WEN to a lady asking about joining TF? With proper caveats, I recommended she join. Heck her husband is an LSU grad. She did join and lurked for awhile but after seeing some posts here decided not to post. You joined WEN in Sept. 2004 and have made one post. Why do you just lurk? Afraid to speak up? :hihi:
I hardly read WEN. I've been there maybe 5 times since the game in which we were screwed on September 18, 2004. Each time I've been there, there has been a thread bashing LSU containing many images of corndogs. I don't see any reason to post there apart from kissing ass, which would make me a hypocrite. The only other rival board I belong to (and read) is SoonerFans.com...and I was kicked from there under this nick after the Sugar Bowl due to several threads in which I wouldn't back down from their ****. I'm registered there under a different username now and, while still being honest and NOT kissing ass (unlike geekboy), have a slightly positive amount of rep points.

Heck, a liitle trash talk about rivals is common on everybodies boards. You like to see it here re. Auburn or your other rivals but don't like it on your rival's boards? There's a guy in our Atlanta office who told me his son responded to a request for student tryouts and actually made the traveling squad. The kid never expected to play basketball after HS. The team was decimated by graduation and injuries and, according to him, any win in conference would be an unexpected one.
