1. Drop test?
  2. Well, I’ve exhausted all of my computer knowledge
  3. Me too. Now I'll just look around to see who can reinstall Windows at the best price. At least it's cheaper than buying a new laptop. Thanks
  4. I’ve found that Best Buy is only good for warranty replacements

  5. The laptop is 2 years old and I bought it at Sam's Club. I know Best Buy will charge $150 if I save the data and $200 if they do it. I already moved everything i want to keep to a flash drive so I'll call a couple of local computer repair shops tomorrow and ask their price.
  6. You don't have a hidden "D:/" drive with the install files on it?

Have you tried to restoring your computer to a time before you experienced these problems?
  7. https://windowsreport.com/cant-down...re still unable, this is updating your browser.
  8. I haven't reinstalled Chrome but it does the same thing with Edge and Firefox. I saved everything that I need too keep do I'm just going to have to reinstall Windows. What pisses me off is that they don't give you a Windows disc when you buy s computer anymore and the problem I have prevents me from downloading it from Microsoft so now I'll have to pay somebody to do it.

  9. Will try the restore. I didn't know the D drive had the install files. I have a D drive but it's not hidden.
