    True, but winning an election is not serving the office. They are two very different functions. My father ran the election campaigns for a pretty good 2-term mayor we had here some time back. The guy never could have gotten elected on his own; just didn't come across well in public. But he was a smart businessman and it translated well in office. Once during the campaign and he was arguing with dad over some point, dad told him,"Do you want to run a campaign, or do you want to be mayor?"

    We shall see for ourselves if Obama, a very skilled campaigner, is an equally skilled President. God bless us if he's not.

    Isn't this why the Pres. has advisors on the ground? I would hate to see a man making a sole decision on something without being in the middle of it.
