Based on Borges' current contract, I am more inclined to think he will be offered the Kentucky HC job after next season. Brooks was given a 1 year extension, but no one at Kentucky is expecting him to do anything worthwhile with it.
As much as I think that we could do better than Jimbo (like Dirk Koetter if he gets fired) I think that he's a huge part of keeping RP here until it's his turn to play. Hopefully with a full year under his belt, Russell will get turned lose next year and we'll see some points scored.
Looks like Auburn OL coach Hugh Nall will be offered the Georgia Southern HC job. He was an ass't coach there before coming to Auburn.
Ouch, don't want to lose Nall and Borges. They seem like the backbone that make Tub look good. They are two really good coaches.
Our Offense will be improved next season. If he wanted to wait a year, it might open up some more options for him. But if he's going to leave, before next season would be a better time for LSU because we return our offensive skill positions. Going to a school like USF is the route most coordinators have to take to get a big time gig. If the rumors about him & Miles not getting along are true, he may take it.
