Dougherty would definitely be a great hire. At Notre Dame, he helped that bb team become extremely competitive in a short time, giving him the inside road to the North Carolina job. At NC, he recruited great, then had problems managing players and administration expectations--some of which was his fault, some the lack of administration support. I followed this closely during his time there and since. He's learned from his experiences, and is still considered a great coach by his peers.

The sooner Brady goes, the quicker LSU can have it's forturnes turn around.

What?????? The SEC has been a powerhouse in BBall. This is their first down year in the past 5 years. Kentucky, Miss St., Arkansas, Florida, Alabama make the tourney every year. Thats 5 count it 5 teams in the big dance every year from the SEC. Not a premier conference, yea right. LSU's facilities are horrendous, your kidding right. We just had over 15,000 fans at our womens game. Duke does not hold 15,000 fans. Come on man if your going to post, post facts not IMO's. BTW Duke holds 9,314 fans. We are the 3rd largest arena in the SEC.

Nolan is a great coach, although I do not know if we could get him.

Have to agree, the SEC has been a premier conference in basketball for years now. They may not have a UNC/Duke thing going on but the SEC has been very strong over the past decade at least. Arkansas and UK were only a very small notch below that for several years. It will be interesting to see if the SEC can get back into the mix soon. I don't think Heath is capable of bringing Arkie back to where have been though.

And while the PMAC is not the caliber of many of the best facilites around the cuntry, it's not close to being a dump, especially in the players eyes. Go look at many of the stadiums around the country and you will see many that are not big, new or nice.
