1. Could give him a offer as DC in waiting too, which would ensure his future at LSU as well as keep him for several years. And O might just take a paycut, he loves CFB and recruiting. If LSU wanted too though, they could match his salary I'm sure.
  2. All signs are beginning point to Coach O being our new DC. The lack of urgency on Miles' part, the palling around, and the Saints season ends not long after our bowl game.
  3. talked to the family (of Coach O).

Orgeron to LSU is heating up.
  4. I just want someone angry on the sidelines.

    Coach O provides that.
  5. As DC or position coach? Inquiring minds want to know... Any idea?
  6. no clue.

But, the two did have quite the romantic kiss and makeup session this weekend. lol
  7. At this point, the guys that have come into consideration haven't been all that impressive, and O could... ugh... could be a good fit here, even if he is a loose cannon.
  8. O will not be the DC...not yet anyway. Hopefully he'll come aboard though.

Here's an interesting article for you guys...

  9. Just curious, but is this an opinion, or is this something you heard from someone?

If opinion, may I ask why?

Dude was a head coach. Why can he not be a DC?

And whether we want to admit it or not, he had the car headed on the right path at Ole Miss.

Just look where they are now.

About 50% of that credit has to be given to him for "buying the groceries" Nutt is cooking with.

  10. Can you imagine having the Mad Hatter and the Crazy O on the same sideline?
