I hope the cash wasn't given to him by a financial advisor before the bowl game! We don't need the NCAA snooping around down here.

Some of you might be suprised, but most college football players smoke marijuana. Even the ones that are "great role models". It's at every school. LSU is no exception.

I'm not defending what happened, just pointing out a fact that many fans don't realize.

Very sad and disappointing.

Even if this did not happen, the lure is even worse with all the $$$$ in the pros.

I have been in social settings with a lot of LSU football players, and a good friend of mine lives with a few guys who play alot. I have never heard them say or do anything that would make me suspect they smoke marijuana.

Now I know there are bad apples (one fan favorite from a few years ago dealt drugs out of his apartment) but it is the extreme minority.
