1. thats exactly what they do. he wants to speak of "sheeple" then he better be better informed of reality.

if you dont sign the consent, prepare to wait awhile on side of the road and before you know it, meet sparky the german shephard who can't read your consent form anyhow.
  2. The wisest course of action if you're pulled over is to not give the cop cause to think he needs to search your car. Just give him all "yes sirs" and "no sirs"
and unless you're obviously impaired, you should be on your merry way in a few minutes...with or without a ticket.
  3. Hate to say this... but uh, I'm guessing your saying this from a middle-aged white man perspective. I think things are considerably different for college aged big black men listening to loud rap music driving nice cars...

  4. I am with Salty 100%, I have no respect for people that do drugs, but CMFP stands correct, the crap goes on all the time. Back when I was at LSU in 90's, the football and baseball team would light it up all the time. It seems that nothing has changed.:dis:
  5. The perspective doesn't matter. Like I said...don't give them reason to suspect you're hiding something. Odds are, if you're booming rap music
loud enough to annoy others, and you give him a reason to pull you over, you ARE going to get hassled, if only because of noise ordinances. It's just the way things are, and you know it as well as I do. So just don't do it. Use a little common sense.
  6. There are a lot of people who smoke weed that you would never expect. Especially a lot of "Christian Youth Leader" type people.......

Plenty of the players do smoke it. But not all or most. 15-20% sounds good to me.

People who smoke weed or hang out with people who do tend to think its more widespread than it is, and people who don't know anyone who does tend to think its less widespread than it is. That is a true statement.

The answer is "more than most people would think" and "much less than some people think."
  7. They throw 'probable cause' out the window every day. If they find anything in your car, it's your word against theirs. And the courts really don't care too much, either. The way they see it, if you were found to be in possession, then the cop obviously had probable cause because he was right. Drug courts are a racket, plain and simple. I'll just leave it at that.
  8. Oh I know. I'm not trying to say it's racism or that it's unwarranted - just that you were looking at it from a different perspective.
  9. ok old folks (and I include me in that statement), it is time to wake up to the fact that a lot of people are smoking pot today - it is just most of you don't know or realize it because it is not something you put on the front page. I went to Baylor for my undergrad, and you would think at the world's largest baptist university there would be none of this, but in fact there was a great deal. it is a lot more common and acceptable amongst most today, just still illegal.

time to wake up to the smoke.....
  10. And just who might you be referring (no pun intended) to ?
