    Re: Hey LSUGEEK...

Ditto, He is a Defensive lineman the kind of fellow you want to be just a little crazy. I like his intensity and his pass rush speed but he needs to work on run defense I saw him watching a couple of run plays.

    Re: Chase Pittman

I agree that Chase has been playing very well over the last few games, but having seen him in HS and now at LSU, I think it's waaaay too early to be counting on him as a "leader" for next year, and especially in the same sense as everyone speaks of a guy like Kyle Williams being a leader.

I had forgotten about him getting arrested for the bar fight. That is inexcusable unless he was defending himself or someone else. I don't give passes for stuff like that.

I didn't think the face mask rub was bad. I liked the attitude and the intimidation factor of it. I don't think it should be a personal foul. Guys are always bumping into each other and mouthing off. That won't stop. When guys lay a QB out, they always are talking and little face mask rub didn't harm anything. It scared the crap out of Brodie I bet.

anytime a white boy can start on the d-line for a major program, Im a fan. its as common as a brotha in hockey.

Odds are both have to be a bit insane either way.

And Ive been the biggest dorsey fan since seeing him play a few HS games. great kid and a great player. we wont miss a beat with him in there and in fact he will end up being more dominant than williams/wroten due to his size. hes got the frame to be huge and is fast.

Talk about high expectations....but he won't disappoint. As long as Favorite comes strong we will be fine at DT.

I must confess that I got a little riled up when Chase tempted fate with the ref standing right there. The way the 1st half was going, we didn't need to give Alabama any help. It was the 1st half, right?

yes sir, it was right before the end of the first half when brodie fumbled and recovered it. next play was 4th and a mile when tremaine johnson sacked him the very next play to end the half.

also somewhere in that drive or the drive before Laron had an almost sack just like he did to start the second half but brodie got the ball off. He was talking smack then too. both looked very similar. for some reason i liked laron talking smack since its not usually the case.
