No need to be condescending. But just for the record, JJ wasn't arrested until after they supposedly had forensic evidence linking him to the victim.
I dunno, my gut tells me there's more to this story and that he's innocent of rape. I have a friend who dated him on and off for a while and he just didn't seem like that kind of guy. I guess you never really know, but I'm not believing it just yet.
Sadly, it is said that 45% of rape allegations turn out to be hoaxes. It is good to have a fair mind until the facts come out in trial.
I'm with you, Red. The facts need to come out. CS is innocent until proven guilty. Hope no one gets hurt & that it's just a 'buyer's remorse' type of sexual liason.....
From what I've heard, the charge is "simple rape", which could literally mean that she had "consensual" sex with him when she was drunk, then regretted it after the fact and cried rape. But it could also mean that she was completely passed out when it happened. Either way, this is vastly different from "forcible rape".
Maybe cause she was easy?? :wave: On a serious note, I doubt Charles Scott has to rape women to get laid.
what did that turn out to be ? He waas found guilty , but with a minor charge right ?? Now then , the lady took a few test i would think , don't you ??
If I'm not mistaken, I think where we left off with the JJ saga was that the grand jury decided what they could charge him with based on the evidence collected. I don't think he has been tried yet. But like I said, I could be wrong. Even if the girl went to the hospital and got a rape kit done, unless there is unusual trauma/injury, it may not prove anything based on the fact that it could have been a consensual situation. Could still be left up to he said/she said arguments.
You are correct. JJ has not been convicted of anything and was given about the equivalent of a ticket.
