I'm sticking by my guns on this one.

19 TDs, 7 Ints, 97.4 QB rating (finished 2nd in the NFL only to Rivers).

    Miami wins the division, 11-5.

Put McCown, McNown, whatever the hell his name is and the Dolphins are 5-11.

No receivers to work with all year long. And a QB rating of over 97. Are you kidding me?

And no, Ronnie Brown isn't that great that he was able to offset the horrible receivers.

PURPLE TIGER HOPE is not a strategy!

From 1-15 to 11-5 and all it took was two years to right the ship that Saban sank.

And what I ask the entire world is who besides Chad Pennington did they sign/draft that made an impact on this team?

I remember in the offseason listening to local radio down here in Florida and the running joke was that Parcells was bringing in free agents that were long snappers and backup guards.

Can't argue against CP for MVP.

He doesn't have Brees-like numbers, but he's the main reason the fins are in the playoffs.

And remember, it's the most valuable player award, not best player award.

I would also have to put in the two rookie QBs for MVP as well. Roddy White for the Falcons and Mason/Clayton for the Ravens have done absolutely nothing in their careers until this year with new QBs.

But I'm sure Manning will win it cause, like the pro bowl, it's a popularity contest.

Without Manning, the Colts are the Rams.

maybe the Saints, but definitely not the Rams.

Without CP, the dolphins are the lions.

The Saints? The Saints have Brees and a decent running game (Thomas).

I think a healthy Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams and Chad Henne would have the the 'Fins better than the Lions if they were without CP. CP has a running game and a defense to fall back on. Peyton doesn't. He IS the team.

I wouldn't be upset if he got it, though. It would be good for the Jets.

    You're overstating Peyton's importance.

I would swear the Colts are winning games by an average of 47-44 and are averaging 13 yards rushing per game.

That would be the Saints. Not the Colts. Had the Saints simply made the playoffs, Brees would have been a slam dunk for the MVP.

    Pennington for MVP.
