I think the bigger reason we haven't been dominant since Va Tech is that was the last game Charles Alexander and Early Doucet both played. Losing Doucet really changed the style of the offense into a run up the middle power offense (see the 4th qtr of UF game). Losing Alexander meant that Dorsey drew a lot more double teams (see the Auburn game). The offense opened up a lot against Auburn, but the defense had 4 subs on the D-line on Auburn's drive in the 4th qtr. Getting Will Arnold back on the field may help as well.

If Dorsey is at full speed tomorrow, we are a lot closer to dominance than we have been in a while.

Great thoughts. Agree, especially on Doucet. I didn't at first understand just how costly his injury was going to be. I do now.
