    A. The students did boo Miles as he was running by himself toward the tunnel at the end of the half. The whole crowd booed when we ran the ball on our first 2 plays of the possession with under 2 minutes to go in the half, and I called them out too. Did you read the whole post?

    B. You were having fun??? I question how big a fan you are if you're having fun while we just squandered a 14-0 lead and are now losing 17-14 in a huge SEC game. True fans were sick to their stomachs at that point in the game. The wave should've been the last thing on your mind.

    C. Not testing loyalty. In fact I believe the students are the loudest and best fans in the stadium. I wish the whole stadium would stand throughout the game and get loud like the students do. That's why I was so disappointed in that spectacle at the end of the half - I might expect that booing stuff from Joe Alumni sitting on the 50 who doesn't know jack about football, but the students are usually much better than that.

    D. They sing to the students as they should. The school exists for students after all. I think it's a pretty cool tradition to start.

    E. Well, considering I graduated from LSU, I wouldn't put too much stock in that theory of yours.

So if a team is losing you can't try to have fun at the games? Why do people go to Vanderbilt or Ole Piss games then? I was very pissed that we were losing and I didn't participate in the wave because i've always found it to be homosexual, but anyway I was still trying to have fun with the people I was at the game with. Oh NO!!! I'm not as good a fan as you are because I try to have fun at LSU games no matter what is going on, someone please get me a rope and lead me to a tree because I am not as big a fan as jwb is.

I don't know if you were at the game or not, but what happened was, both teams ran off the field, but Miles stayed behind to do a couple interviews, as he seems to do now. The refs got off the field when the teams did, so they were clearly off the field. All that was left was Miles. He got done w/ his interview, then ran by himself from about the 10 yard line where he was doing the interview, to the tunnel. And as he was running, a chorus of boos rained down from that part of the stadium. It was pretty clear. I got home and watched the tape and you can hear it a little on the CBS broadcast just as they cut to Tim Brando.

What Salty said... over the top rail WWE style land in parking lot all messed up.

booing problem solved. I estimate you'd only have to throw three or four over before word got around the crowd that stupid lame fans were being " taken care of" and the Bs would stop. :D

I don't know why people go watch Vandy or Ole Miss, except if they're a fan of the road team.

But at LSU games, if we're losing, keep cheering the Tigers on of course, in fact, cheer louder. Have fun in trying to get the Tigers back in the game. Try to pump up the players. But doing the wave when we're losing is not fun. Not to the hardcore Tiger fans.

I guess you're just a better fan than everyone then. That's fine with me I'll even give you a crown because you're the king of LSU fans, which makes you king of all fans.[IMG]

I'll agree with you but only because I think the wave is stupid at anytime.

The wave is for Baseball games that are locked up in a pitchers duel. That **** is boring as hell to watch. Football on the other hand, is very rarely boring.

BS, you must have your endzones mixed up. The SEZ stands 50% of the game and the only reason we sit, ever, is because there are some elderly around us and we would like for them to be able to watch the game also. Look, we don't need to argue about whose section is louder than the others, even though the SEZ is better than everyone else :hihi:, what is important is that we support the players and the team. The team includes the coaches, also.

I'm in section 14. When the student section started booing Miles, we all looked at each other and shook our heads. I heard no one there, or in any section to my right or left, start booing.
