You mean you've never heard of Ron Powles or Rick Mirer? The players just like the team are very often very overrated just because they are Notre Dame.
Good point. I couldn't believe this afternoon espn was saying it was not his fault....he had to carry the team......he'll still be #1 pick..... What great QB's don't "Carry the team". Poor old JR is a stud and has been under the radar nationally in terms of the credit he deserves. You are sure right about what you said there pal! :thumb:
I don't think JR has been under the radar to the folks that count. Yea the media and ESPN, etc. give all the props to Quinn, Smith and Booty but from everything I have heard through out the year from the so called NFL people in the know is JR is highly ranked for his physical skills. They are still just cautious of his decision making skills at times. If he enters the draft this year he will go high and could possibly go number 1 to Raiders which I think will be a big mistake for him. He would be better going a few picks down and holding the clipboard for a bit raher than getting thrown to the dogs immediatly and then possibly hurting him. Guess it all depends on if he likes the college life more than the money he will make. His stock surely soared after last nights game. B
