The important thing was that the article was not about their "relationship" per se, as much as it was an opinion about how poorly Brady "used" Davis in game time situations and how Davis didn't play maturely this season. Also, it alluded to some "lack of communciation" between the two late in the season with respect to Davis' injury. It was less of a piece on the personal relationship between the two, which as far as I know didn't seem damaged. I mean, heck, Brady wanted Glen to branch out, expose some of his other talents, and gave his Junior team leader some more offensive latitude. Sure, there were some games where if Glen just hammered away down low, the games might have been closer but, is Glen upset with Brady for letting him play with more freedom? I doubt it. We bash Brady for being too much of a dictator with his players, and then when he shows some flexibility, we also bash him. I guess though, if we had won those games, Brady would have been a "good coach" to let Big Baby "open up" his game? Nahhh... :hihi: :geauxtige :bball: :champs: Donnell and Marcus... you can make a difference. LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL.
I hated Rivals. I can't figure out how to cancel my subscription, I swear it's not on the website. /off-topic Brady didn't rein in the shot selection because he probably told him, "Take the shot if you think you've got it. No matter what." He's already copped to not controlling Baby enough as far as off-court goes, maybe this is the next step.
it sure is easy for people to say that this was the cause of the crappy season, but id bet glen's fg% would have gone DOWN and turnovers UP. the ball was in the hands of the best player a lot. without any penetrating ball-handlers and with inconsistent perimeter shooting this was the easiest/best way to get glen the ball.
