The only way LSU goes to the SECCG is if Mississippi State beats Arkansas (highly unlikely), Alabama beats Auburn (within the realm of possibility but not very likely) and LSU wins its next two games against Ole Miss (very probably) and Arkansas (a possibility). While I obviously hope and pray everything falls into place for the Tigers, I am fairly certain LSU's chances of playing for the SECCG will end when Arkansas absolutely creams Mississippi State Saturday. I think the only way Mississippi State wins Saturday is if I place a bet on Arkansas. Hmmmmmm.
What happens if LSU, Ark, and AU have 2 losses in the conference? Who goes to Atlanta, if LSU beats Ark and Ark then has 2 SEC losses.
3-way tie goes to best in the BCS, i thought. and if it goes to division record, we would still be tied... nevermind, your right because MSU would have to beat arkansas and if they have 2 losses it would be interdivisional eliminating them, auburn beat us...damn.
IF Arkansas loses to Miss State & LSU & they all(LSU/Auburn/ARK) have two losses , AUBURN would go. In that case LSU & Auburn would be 4-1 in the SEC West. Auburn wins the tiebreaker over LSU(head to head) While Arkansas will be 3-2 in the SEC West by virtue of losing to LSU & Miss. State. So a three way Tie actually favors Auburn at this point.
we need auburn to lose and if they don't, i'll pull for miss state because id rather see arkansas go to atlanta over tubby.
I found this showing SEC bowl tie ins. Here's the link if anyone is interested in a complete listing of the bowls. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCAA_football_bowl_games,_2006-07
