I wonder if people would buy Baton Rouge tap water labeled as Baton Rouge tap water.

A buck fifty a pop, means they are paying about $16/gal for water.

Which is why I usually buy a gallon of water .89 instead of paying $1.50 for 16 Oz of it

Parched patrons can sip from the city’s “most extensive water menu” which features H2O from 10 different countries including Spain, France, Germany and Canada....

Bougie bottles like Berg, harvested from glaciers in Western Greenland, and the more familiar Evian, range in size from .75 to 1 liter and are priced between $8 and $20 per bottle.

The most expensive bottle is Riese’s own Beverly Hills 9OH2O, a California-made bottle priced at a whopping $40 and described as “the champagne of waters.”

The menu describes each water featuring information on origin, mineral content and tasting notes."

If there was ever any doubt that P.T. Barnum was right.......

I get cases at Home Depot - 24 16oz bottles for 2.97, best deal I have found on a regular basis. My kids can't lug a gallon to school with them.

About a $1/gal., so much better.

water is paid for its convenience. the cost is irrelevant to soccer mom.

Several Brands of Bottled Water Recalled Over E. Coli Fears
Good news: No complaints of injury or illness have yet been reported.

Before filling your cooler with beverages and heading off to the beach, you might want to check the brands on your water bottles. Niagara Bottling is recalling several products after one of its spring sources was contaminated with E. coli.

The contamination was initially discovered in the water supply on June 10, but the company was not notified in a timely manner, so they have stopped using the source. And while Niagara says it has not received any complaints of injury or illness and their "finished product testing detected no contaminants or issues of any kind," they are still voluntarily recalling all spring water products produced at the company's facilities in Hamburg and Allentown, Pennsylvania, from June 10 to June 18.

The water included in the recall was sold under the following brand names:

• Best Yet
• Morning Fresh
• Niagara
• Nature's Place
• Pricerite
• Shaw's
• Shoprite
• Superchill
