1. Maybe thats why he's got the blues ! :hihi:
  2. I'd have the frickin blues if I was married to her. I think her first name is Heinous, yeah, it was Heinous King. LOL
  3. very cool story! :thumb:
  4. Thats a great story man. I always thought Greg Allman sounded a bit like Joe Cocker would sound if he was singing the blues.

One of my fav Allman Brothers tracks...Soulshine!

  5. WOW! Now that video is a perfect example of the blues. The big guy playing guitar is my hero, Warren Haynes. If you ever get a chance to see his band, don't miss him, they're called Gov't Mule and they're UNFRICKINREAL. Saw em about a month ago in a little 1000 seat theatre here in Pittsburgh (Homestead Carnegie Music Hall). That song, "SoulShine", was written by Haynes too. Man, I LOVE the Allman Brothers. May Duane rest in Peace.

  9. I just hit the JACKPOT tonight.
Went to the mall for the 1st time in about a decade.
Was a 75% off rack out front of the music store, so figured I'd check out the selection.

    I walked away with:
John Lee Hooker - Blues Kingpins, Robert Johnson - Dust My Broom, Elmore James - Blues, The best of Muddy Waters for right under 4 bucks a piece.

Thats 68 amazing Blues tunes for $17 (after taxes).:thumb:
