I believe against Auburn is the first time that LSU has worn the home whites since the preseason.

Glen looked CONSIDERABLY larger than he did the last time I saw him in home whites, which was the Global Sports exhibition.

Nobody's going to talk about this, but I think he's put the weight back on.

I never thought he looked all that small, as they kept alluding to all off season.

Maybe he put on about 10-20 pounds back, but I doubt he ever lost more than 30 pounds to begin with.

The little bit I've been able to watch, what amazed me was how much weight the team has put on him. :yelwink2:

Nah, I didn't mean it smart ass, I'm serious. It's like the rest of the team wants him to carry them too much. I only watched two games though. Texas and Bama. :thumb:

I didn't take it as a smartass remark, just clever in getting your point across

I agree, when a team relies on their star too much it doesn't make the overall team better (see Iverson and Kobe in NBA). You end up just watching and waiting to see your big star make a play instead of keeping your head in the game to make those same plays yourself.

It was most apparent at the opening exhibition game against Global/EA Sports. I think he's steadily gained it all back during the year.

Not sure how that's possible in a D-1 basketball program....

All year long, Baby has worn pads, similar to football pads, under his shorts. Since his car accident, he's also been wearing a protective "belt" to protect his ribs.

the reason they made him lose so much was because they know he gains weight progressively each season...

they like him at 320 or so, and they feel that is his peak weight... so by dropping him to 290, they figure by Feb-March, he will be back at his peak weight.
