Actually 45 - 24 isn't that bad. We've beaten teams worse this year. . . I think Slaton helped his Heisman chances, but if LSU wins I think we're still have a good shot and jumping WV. Current they're 5th we're 6th. Beat no.3, ND moves up to 3 we move to 4th WV stays the same. . .at least, that's what I'm hoping for. lol Ofcourse other games will play a big factor in that, if USC or ND lose (which is possible. . . maybe) then WV and LSU won't have to worry much cuz we'll both be top 3.

The fact that 24 was scored by Maryland will give Voters a clear cut picture that LSU belongs atop WV.

Perfect set-up for LSU to jump to # 3 AHEAD OF USC ... especially with all the new allegations ... Voters can be finicky

A Big win by LSU could get a decent number of FIRST PLACE votes, even if LSU doesn't pass USC in the polls

I like Rodriguez and WV has a good team but beating Maryland is like beating Ole Miss. Would it be that big a deal to beat Ole Miss 45-24? Wouldn't you be a little embarrassed giving up 24 points to Ole Miss?

I turned it off after the 1st half. How did they score 24 pts? Did WV put in 3 string defense or what?

I think WV deserves a strong ranking after thumping UGA and having big wins so far. They will be undefeated more than likely but in no way should they be in the NC game just for going undefeated. I don't believe they hang with an AU or LSU or OSU at all.

Beating Maryland isn't impressive, I can't believe they gave up 24 pts though after seeing the 1st half. Fowler said they maybe "under-rated" at #5. Please!! Wait till they play a real team.
