Other than Sr/grad student types and obvious high draft picks, what is best guess for those that return? Thought I read someone in TP already. Heard today for first time Jones a DE soph. Herring is too, but he has Friday night starter all over him next year IMO. Not sure what kind of NIL going in baseball but I would think there might be a couple that would make more in college vs avg/low draft pick.

hope they still have Jones and milam. those guys are a great foundation. brown apparently is for real as well.

with NIL payments getting bonkers, I have to think most player not destined for the first round would try to improve their stock in school. being in school has to be more fun than single-a.

people hate kling, but I like him. he took lots of walks. I think the least teachable skill in baseball is pitch recognition. a young player that sees the ball well enough to take walks has potential, in my opinion.

I suspect the top 3rd baseman in the portal is already planning a visit.

Kling is one of the fastest players on the team. That’s why he is in CF.

Milam is a fresh, he stays. Kling can't hit, he stays. All others mentioned along with a lot more will probably be gone. Going to be a big rebuilding year!

I don’t hate kling. Actually pulled for him. But sitting him this year was the right thing. Strikes out a lot.
