I think if Bama can run the ball and keep Arkansas off the field that will be as big as any other factor.
I think that this will be the beginning of the end of Nutt. As much as I hate Bummer, I think that they are going to roll against Arky. The off field chaos around Arky this past off season is finally going to have an effect (it didn't seem to slow them down in years past, but this time it will). Bama gets up early and blows them out. Bama may even be undefeated when they roll into Baton Rouge. Their biggest challenges (UGA and Tenn) don't look nearly as tough as I once thought. I doubt it though. I think that Tenn will bring them back down to earth, we will crush them, and a loss at AU will stick them in the Peach Bowl. Not a bad year.
Same result. Sorry, I was looking at Bummer schedule and saw a home game. When I see a home game I think Death Valley. Won't change the beating. You think we took out some frustration on VT? This game will be in a whole other plane of existance.
Nutt must have caught the Arky pres bangin a skank or something because he should have been fired for that mess up there. He has the goods on someone. Everytime I see him I feel like I need to take a shower to wash off the filth.
Arky Talent vs. Bama Talent I was looking over my picks and this is one of the more difficult ones this week. However, I looked at the preseason all-sec rankings and only arkansas had a comparable number of all-sec candidates on their team. In fact, they were second to LSU with 13 players on the squad. They are a talented team on paper. I can't see Bama hanging four quarters with them. McFadden is a nightmare and their offensive line is still good. Plus, their fullback, the big white kid, is back. College Football News picked Bama but I think they are wrong. I'm going with the unpopular pick: Hogs over Bama 35-24:lsup:
Re: Arky Talent vs. Bama Talent good topic b/c i think this is an interesting game. the battle to watch is arky's tailbacks and o-line against bama's front seven. i know its kinda oversimplified but if bama can stop the run they'll probably win, if they can't and the hogs run wild, arky will win. i think it's a toss up but i picked the tide. plus i want the south carolina game to be a night game and that would help out.
Re: Arky Talent vs. Bama Talent Everyone stacked the line a year ago and was unable to stop McFadden--not even LSU. If Nick can stop McFadden he's the man. I'll believe it when I see it b/c Bama just doesn't have the muscle up front. Arky did lose their top receiving threat, so they will be more one dimensional, but they have more athletes than Bama. This one will be a close game, imho. Good post.
