Mal Moore is still claiming he wants a "proven" head coach.

Their board looks almost exactly like ours.

Take him. I think that a new offensive coordinator would be a breath of fresh air for the LSU offense. I like Jimbo's run to set up the pass mentality but when your quarterback's play-fake doesn't fool the fans in the nose bleed section maybe it's time to abandon that game plan. Add that to a struggling offensive line and lack of a break out back why won't you change things? LSU can throw the ball and does it well, why not throw to set up the run. Spurrier is the man when it comes to this type of ball. Why can't LSU do the same? When a QB can launch it 70 yds in the air, take advantage. Bye Jimbo, you should have left a long time ago.

I have really enjoyed Jimbo being here at LSU and I wouldn't mind if he stuck around. He has done a good job with our QB's over the last several years. If he gets the opportunity to take a HC position, he should. I think there are positives to the situation either way unless some of the earlier rumors were true about tension between Miles and Jimbo. If there is a "situation" then its in everyone's best interest for him to make a change.

So when should Jimbo have left? After the National Championship season? :nope:

Yeah, let's get rid of the OC even though we had the highest scoring offense in the SEC this season. Brilliant.
