If Auburn totally dominates and wins something like 24-6, then I think Auburn will get about 15-20 voters changing their minds and swapping Auburn and OU out for 2nd/3rd in their list. They only need 25 to change their minds. Bama is totally outmatched. Auburn just needs to keep up the pressure and finish them off with another quick TD. Alabama should not be able to score again.
Total domination by Auburn....game's a lot closer than it should be. Auburn has the Orange Bowl in their control. Continue to dominate and widen the margin of victory and you may be looking at Auburn being #2 in the BCS this Monday. The fact that USC is not playing may be in Auburn's favor as well. I think a few votes will switch between USC and Auburn for #1, whereas OU will not advance in that category.
Bama giving up... again... they just dont have the depth that most others teams do. I see small bursts from the Bama offense but then they just give up. If Bama had Brodie I believe their team would be infinitely better. I see this one going down to the wire, but i dont think that Auburn will be denied.
Same as you... you think my analysis of spurts of decent offense.. followed by tired play ... is wrong. Im watching the game and Alabama looks worn out, but at the same time they do have small spurts of good plays.
Ok, Auburn did EXACTLY what they needed to do to impress the voters. Now it's up to the voters to do what is right. Auburn racking up mid 300 yards versus the #2 defense in the nation. Alabama with way less than 150 yards.
