Just a note, In 2006 Texas signed 25 kids, 9 were not on the sidelines for the NC game. All teams have attrition. Every kid comes in thinking they should start.

Yep, but if he went and tried to get with UGA or some other big school he could end up in the same situation he is in at LSU. Just another really talented player that is fighting for playing time he may never see or could only see very limited playing time.
This is where I get confused. Would he be on the attrition list? He wouldn't be adding a scholarship to the next class but would have been greyshirted and counted toward the 2011 class if he agreed to accept it. So in a way we do have an extra spot next class that we wouldn't of had if he accepted the greyshirt. Head just exploded.:lol:
Not yet... He has his release from his LOI but he is still considering the greyshirt offer to come in on full scholarship in January.
