1. I wouldn't be surprised if attendence is in the 60-70k range under the circumstances. There are many people who had tickets that can't go on Monday. And then there are those of us who couldn't go Saturday but could make it on Monday, but don't have tickets now. :bncry:

I hope there's a great crowd to cheer on the boyz and to look good on TV, but I just fear that many will be affected. I don't think it's impossible for 1/4 to 1/5 of people that were going to go Sat to not be able to go Mon. I sure hope I'm wrong.

I'm hoping to find some tickets from one of the unfortunate ones, but this late, I don't know how that will happen.

Here's hoping the Florida game is NORMAL.
  2. There will be A LOT of tickets available outside of the stadium. Many people with multiple tickets will have extras for sale for this game.

I have a friend who has always gotten great seats on the sidelines. He just stands near the gates to the best sections and asks people if they have any spare tickets. Some of these rich old duffers have unused tickets, but aren't about to go around waving them in the air for a few bucks they don't need. But when someone asks, they will pull them out. A few times they even gave them to him free. He says he rarely has to ask more than 20 or 30 people before he gets a great ticket.
  3. I'm going provided I can find tickets... I'm thrilled since I was supposed to work Saturday, but our Restaurant/Bar is closed on Mondays.... But, I can see them opening "just for the LSU game." In which case they can fire me, there are plenty of PT jobs to be found... Like I told my boss from day one... please don't make me choose between LSU and work...LSU will prevail
  4. Hate to say this, but I doubt there will even be a game come monday...
  5. Why not? Rita continues to weaken and will make landfall some 150 miles away from BR.

We may not even lose power in BR...

  6. Do y'all still have DEMCO in Baton Rouge?

If so y'all will lose power. :hihi:
  7. Shut your mouth!

Yes, I'm on DEMCO ... actually fared quite well during Katrina compared to many others. Lost power less than a day.
  8. Guys, I am so depressed. I had tickets to go, had my suitcase packed because I was driving straight outta work Thursday night, stopping to pick up my sister in Knoxville (who is a UT student that was gonna cheer for LSU:hihi: ) and down to BR for this game. Now, I can't go because I can't get outta work and school for the Monday game.:dis: :bncry: :sob: Maybe we'll play them in the SEC championship here in TN and I can go to that one.
  9. Dude, that sucks.

You can Fedex your tickets to me and I'll go in your place and email you about how it was.

  10. Really I remember many of times when the sun was shining bright and DEMCO would lose power. :hihi:

    Maybe they have gotten better.
