Did they (atm) play tonight? My son asked me today why LSU doesn't play on Thursday. I said because Thursday games are for schools that need attention. If we ever play on Thursday we are in trouble. He said "that makes sense"
I agree, however I happen to believe Coach O will prove to be a great coach. I know I am in the minority here. Give it time, it is the man's second full season, and the cupboard was bare last year.
LOL Other than that Thursday night game in 2011 against Moo U I can’t think of many Thursday night games LSU has played in recent memory. Ya A&M blew the doors off the mighty Demons of Northwestern State. Jimbos offense racked up nearly 800 yards. The over reaction will be ridiculous in typical A&M fashion. Trayveon Williams will be compared to Fournette and a heisman candidate. Bank on it
I hope so. I do like what he has done in trying to bring our D-Line depth back to LSU form and I hope like in years past that proves to be a difference maker.
O is already doing that. Out recruited Bama for Shelvin, Jenkins and Rosenthal among others recently and going to get better longer O is here. I am hearing Cotton and Livington are going to be good ones. He also bought in Travez Moore and Breinden Fehoko both great transfers. We are now at least 2 deep even 3 deep at some positions.
I like it! D-Line depth is under valued (until you don’t have it) Miami losing theirs is a huge plus for us.
One win on the books. If lsu got 800 yards against literally air id be excited. So yeah who wouldn't be. Much less a new coach's first game. Has lsu ever done that in their history. Maybe against rice in 1960 or whatever. I remember our current hc and ensminger broke our sec yards record vs Missouri 2 years ago. I bet that one left a mark for someone.
