1. Michael Smith on ESPN's Around the Horn predicts LSU men's basketball as national champs.
  2. All these nice comments are making me a little leary....just hope they don't jinx us...lol
  3. agreed, but it is nice to get some good press finally
  4. Let's see, these are basically the same media jugheads who gave us two straight weeks of 'USC COULD BE THE GREATEST COLLEGE TEAM EVER' right before they blew a big lead in the BCS title game.

The same folks who thought Tennessee would compete for the BCS title last season.

    Yeah, those idiots.

Sorry, but I can't trust what they think, though I am amused at their musings.
  5. Lord, I hope not...I've got to deal with enough about the football game and reg. season SEC title in basketball! :hihi: :thumb:
  6. every media guy wants to be the one that predicts an underdog to win it all like villanova and ncst. lsu will be a popular pick because of talent, success, played ohiost and uconn close, and lower seed.

these predictions in no way mean lsu has a chance in hell.
  7. That's sort of a surprise since Tim Cowlishaw is the big LSU supporter on that show.
  8. If you heard the show before he made the pick he said,

"This is a Homer pick, but"

The guy is from New Orleans, and he did the same thing Woody Paige did with picking Tennessee to be in the Final Four.

Its nice that someone from the state is trying to drum up some good press, but its nothing more than that.
  9. LSU has as much a chance as anyone else. What's with all the negativity? Listening to a little Tiger Love beats the hell out of the Dukefest we usually have to put up with. A 4 game win streak and we're in the Final Four. I'm not throwing in the towel just yet.

  10. That and the USCsuckfest that we have to listen to the other half of the year.
