One year, I don’t remember which one, in slightly cooler weather, we wore our Service Dress Blues (blue coat and tie), then our extremely heavy overcoats, then pulled our nylon raincoats over the overcoats. Then put on gray gloves, and pulled white gloves over them.

Terrible . . .Six or Seven hours like Michelin Tire Man. One could barely clap.

While there we beat Army twice, lost twice, but we won the first and last years, the two most important ones.

The special unis I saw a week or so ago looked AWFUL. I hope someone gained their sanity, and they’ve done something different.
