Even though this is going to be the death of them. It's been ineffective all day. Meh. They're blowing the SEC's perfect record.
Arkansas can go to hell. First they beat us this year, and now they are embarrassing us and the SEC by their performance against a decent team from the lousy Big-12 North. Next year, when we play Arkansas, I hope that the beating we put on them is so disturbing to the human condition that the refs have to end the game early for mercy.
Did anyone think Ark. would show up? CHN dumped them for UM and Macfadden was in doubt for 2 weeks because of the possible SUV infraction. To me it seemed ARK was playing not to get hurt and looking forward to the NFL draft. The team I watched today was not ARK. (Not taking anything away from MIZZOU) :crystal:
No. I didn't expect Arkansas to do much given everything you already mentioned. Of all the bowl games involving SEC teams, the Cotton bowl was the game I was most concerned about.
Wow, Did the team leave with Houston Nutt? Did they think playing us was their bowl game? I still can't believe we lost to this one dimensional team! So much for the wildcat and hog wild formations, bottomline one dimensional team! I didn't watch much of this game because of the UT, Fla games.
Putting aside the fact that teams in transition with interim coaches haven't won a game this post season (0-6) I don't really know why people expected Arkansas to show up in the first place. They haven't shown up for post season but 2X in the last 15-20 something years. I'm pretty sure they have only won 2 games out of their last 14-15 bowl appearances.
I thought this game was a mismatch when it was announced. Mizzou should have been in a BCS bowl, they were a fingernail away from being in the NCG. Was Arky invited because of driving distance, to get a good turnout in Dallas?
