Jeff long was released from Arkansas today. Does that mean they are getting rid of the AD so they can then get rid of the coach? Will Bielema be there another year then?
It means that Long failed miserably and the new AD will fire Bielema and hire the new coach. Long also hired Bobby Petrino and a series of bad basketball coaches. Bielema seemed like a no risk hire at the time. He had won 3 consecutive Big 10 titles at Wisconsin.
At the time, Bielema looked like a great hire for Arkansas. So did Butch Jones. Both of these guys had won at other places.
