Damn! I was hoping for Auburn to be #11. I don't want to call Auburn a top ten team just yet...that trip to Knoxville has me worried.

You guys are retarded...it makes you made any team other than LSU makes the top 10?? WVU is a great team with a great coach. They tore down the goalposts because Maryland was a hated rival who had beaten them many times in a row.

    Florida St.

The only Team I have a problem with is Florida St. how is it they beat an apithetic UAB and move ahead of people who beat top 10 teams. Just why you need the computers. Some people cant be honest. And I am fine where we are if we win we will move up if not we dont.

It does not make me 'made' that we are not a top 10 team..not even close. We do not deserve it. But WVU ranked 6? Are you kidding me? Would WVU beat ONE of these teams?

    7 Ohio St. 3-0 1,117 9
    8 Florida St. 1-1 1,079 8
    9 Auburn 3-0 1,064 14
    10 California 2-0 1,034 10
    11 Tennessee 2-0 1,031 13
    12 Virginia 3-0 919
Purdue, Arizona State, Fresno State, Boise State...the list goes on and on.
Very unlikely....yet they are ranked that high. They are only ranked that high b/c these pollsters expect them to run the table in the 'big' east.

Agreed on all those teams not being there in the top 10 come the end of the season. Ohio State doing it with smoke and mirrors, just wait til they play omebody. They got 3 losses coming to them.

I certainly dont think we are just another top 20 team. In years past, Id be happy to be anywhere near the top 15 or so....not this year. We will improve and mold this team into a New Years Day Bowl game once again. Thats not just another team.

People overanalyze so much LSU it maginifies our weaknesses. Watch other teams and notice those who play competition and you will see LSU probably still is a top 10 team but we have a loss so we dropped. Hell, the kicking across the country is atrocious. You need talent to be able to improve and also dominate opponents. We have all the pieces, we just need time.

Al Gros and Virginia are the real deal. He has quietly molded this team with some excellent talent and nice size on the lines.

Although its still a long ways off, Utah can still run the table. Very good team, too.

FSU's ranking just shows how important it is to lose early. We lost early, too.

Listened to an interview with Bobby Bowden on B'ham radio couple weeks back and he said that is why they played Miami so early. If you lose that game than you can work you way back to the top by the end of the season while other teams ahead of you lose. It can happen people. Just think how bleak things looked last year when we lost to Florida and two running backs injured. Once our offense gets clicking no one and I mean no one in the country will want to play LSU. That is why Tubby was so dead set on playing the game Saturday at all cost.
