I think we have a legit shot at Smith. I think, and so does he probably, that he can come in and start next season.
Ditto...This is similar to the Tebow situation (Bama vs. Florida). He's a christian with strong beliefs and is looking for a place with a great Fellowship of Christian Athletes program. Doubtful he will find that at USC. I have been wrong before on Tebow--but I think this one is mine. Smith to Bama.
And I would think you're correct if only he would schedule an official to LSU! in January.... Nothing on rivals says he is.... So, until then, I gotta believe he's 'Bama bound....
Check out the article on him at scout.com it says that he has set a visit for Jan 13th. He says that he thinks the situation here is a good one and that he could play here early.
Next weekend is the last weekend & LSU will have several recruits here. I think it's best to have them together & on the last weekend like that. Hopefully we can pull through strong.
I'd trade Tebow for this guy any day. We didn't get Tebow and it didn't bother me all that much. We dont get Andre--it will bother me...A LOT!
