There is no doubt in my mind that this is our year to do it. After watching other teams in the SEC west and the east I think we have a clear shot at going undefeated. All of our toughest games are at home and with the depth we have at every position I don't see how any team including Alabama can compete with us. This might be one of the best teams LSU has ever fielded. In a interview last night Odelle Beckham made a statement that we have not seen anything from Mettenberger and that Mett is a freak... Our future looks bright and Les Miles has a chance to do something that no other coach has done in LSU football history and that is win two national titles... Geaux Tigers!!!

I'd love to be drinking the kool aid this early in the year. But, LSU hasn't been tested. I think I'd better wait until the FL and USCe games before I pour myself a glass of that sugary goodness.

And, I of course hope your 100% correct.

We won't really know until at least Florida what we've got with this schedule. If we can move the ball at will by then, we'll be in very good shape.

wait ... why did both of you say Florida? Seriously? Florida will probably put up less of a fight than North Texas did.

Nothing is clear. We have to come to play every game for every opponent.

It's also in the Swamp, which is still an imposing venue for opposing teams. UF fans treated BG like it was a scrimmage. They will not be doing that for our game.

You're probably right. But I lived in FL for 16 years, and hate the UF fans with a passion. So, that game means more to me than it should.

I understand where all of you are coming from but lets face it we are a damn strong football team. I remember people saying last year if you think LSU is good this year wait until next year. Well the 2012 season is here and I think we are even better than we were last year with a addition to a better quarterback.. And from what I saw from Arkansas, Florida, Auburn, Miss. State and Ole Miss I'm not too worried..

This, I don't see Fla. putting up much of a fight. You hit them in the mouth like last year, too easy. The barn starts a TF and RSF at the OT spots, gona be a long day for those two guys. Vandy held usce to 17 pts. We'll see how they do, usce plays UGA the week before they play us.

I expect Arkansas to still play us well, just because they always seem to. Bama will be tough. The rest of the schedule I'm not that worried about.
