So you heard from a few reliable sources that he handed his equipment in today or you saw him hand his equipment in today? DD heard from a few realiable sources as well and we all know how that turned out... Besides, don't you usually hand in your equipment after a practice anyway?
Elvis told me that he heard Jimmy Hoffa telling Oliver Stone that he heard from credible sources that Alley Broussard may still be on the team or that he might not be. At least we know the full story now . Glad to clear up all these rumors floating around. NOTE: We'll all find out Saturday night.
I definitely got egg on my face yesterday for saying that since DD reported it, then it was true. No knock against you personally but I think I'll withhold judgment until the news breaks this time.
i've had the pleasure of talking to dd quite often over the past few years and he does know his stuff as well as his inside sources. the problem is he's too concerned with getting scoops even though that's not what his readership wants. that said, dd is the reason i was never worried about rp, kw, jai, etc. you gotta talk to him through emails to really get an idea of what he knows, his updates are just generic filler now because he spends so much time answering emails. also, he's damn good at evaluating high school talent. 20+ years of refereeing will do that, mike s. doesn't have that.
I've always thought of DD's site as more of a blog rather than a credible source for information. If he gives you some inside info or breaks a story like he did this time you pretty much have to take his word for it because he never names sources. It's a good site and I visit it every day to see what he has to say but it will never be a credible source for LSU information.
If Alley hits the field Sat night we need to stand up and give him a big cheer to remind him of why he came to play at LSU and how much we love him as a Tiger.
